Re-Distribution-Logistics as a tool to improve the competitiveness of re-use-strategies covers

  • the processes of taking-back used goods
  • the strategies of re-supply and re-marketing
  • including the guarantee of the product quality for
  • each re-utilisation-loop

Main elements are the return-processes of the used goods with a quality control of the returned goods, re-processing with possibly qualitative improvements necessary for a re-use (sorting, cleaning, repairing, upgrading), finally a quality control before the re-supply (re-sale or rent) with a quality guarantee for the performance of the 'new' good. The re-entry of goods, components or materials in the market at different moments is shown in the diagram below:
